I’ve just finished writing the draft of Part I of The Spiritual Journey of Homo Sapiens. It concludes with a chapter on ancient cave art, and I wanted a place to point readers to see my photos from the Cave of Altamira, which I visited in the fall of 2024. This is that place.

Groovy! I have a piece coming out on Monday of next week about wells, springs, caves, and our connections to the Earth through holes in the ground. I include mention of some of the caves with Paleolithic cave art (though when I was in Spain I toured El Castillo so that’s the Spanish one I included, but Altamira looks stunning as well).
